DRMP Promotes Todd White, PE, to New Roadway Division Leader
November 3rd, 2022
Orlando, Fla. – DRMP has promoted Todd White, PE, to Roadway Division Leader in the Transportation Market Sector. This promotion is part of DRMP’s strategic plan to expand the firm and its services offered to clients throughout the Southeast.
Amanda Woods, PE, a DRMP Vice President and Director of Transportation, said this new role will align the firm’s roadway staff together under one group, where they will continue to collaborate on projects throughout its regional offices.
Throughout his 25 years in engineering, White has helped design and manage various complex transportation projects in the Midwest and throughout the Southeast United States, including interstate, expressway, arterial, interchange, and local road projects. He joined DRMP’s Orlando, Fla., office in January 2021 as Transportation Chief Engineer and plays significant roles on multiple projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), and important municipal clients.
White is a Professional Engineer registered in Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He plays a vital role in identifying and leading project pursuits where DRMP can provide expertise and value to our clients to ensure they meet their goals. White serves as the Roadway Lead for the Widen Turnpike Mainline (SR 91) from Golden Glades Toll Plaza to the Miami-Dade/Broward County Line in Florida and the PD&E Study for SR 31 from SR 80 (Palm Beach Boulevard) to SR 78 in Lee County, Fla.
He has also managed and worked on multiple statewide contracts for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, including the statewide Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) since its inception in 2015 and played a significant role in getting the first HSIP project to letting.
“DRMP’s roadway capabilities are a cornerstone of our foundation. I am extremely honored to lead this group and continue to develop our expertise across all offices and further enhance our services to clients in all regions,” White said. “This strategic plan will create limitless opportunities for professional growth within our staff and add tremendous value to our clients.”
White said a priority in his new role is continuing to develop and grow a forward-thinking roadway team that focuses on innovation and embraces the technological advances in the industry. “Adaptability and flexibility are critical in determining the best solutions for our future infrastructure.”
“Todd is an excellent communicator, mentor, and relationship builder. His experience spans all aspects of roadway design, from local roadways and streetscapes to complex limited-access facilities,” Woods said. “With this combination of both technical and people skills, I am confident that under Todd’s leadership our roadway division will continue to successfully deliver challenging projects while expanding our capabilities to serve our clients and provide new opportunities for DRMP’s roadway team.”
