TRANSPORTATION PLANNING/PD&E STUDIES

Our Transportation Planning/Project Development & Environment Studies Department provides comprehensive and balanced services to meet the challenges of any project whether it is to evaluate the need for an additional turn lane at a minor intersection or a major new roadway alignment with sensitive environmental concerns and public controversy. The qualities that define our image include: professional experience, flexibility to meet project needs, commitment to the clients and communities we serve and proven success.

We provide a wide range of Transportation Planning Services and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies. All of our projects have an affect on the human environment. Therefore, mitigating community impacts becomes one of the most important elements of our work. Our experienced staff of project managers, transportation planners, environmental scientists and engineers have become increasingly aware of the need for comprehensive public outreach and public agency involvement in every assignment.

Our sincere commitment to community impact assessment and public outreach often sets us apart from our competitors and leads to project recommendations that are technically sound, environmentally friendly, socially acceptable and financially feasible. Managing expectations and remaining flexible to meet the needs of the community are important principles that are applied to our project assignments. The success of a project is often measured in terms of the amount of public controversy surrounding the proposed action. DRMP has a proven track record for completing projects that were initially considered controversial and difficult to complete.
