Method The Study will be interactive with the general public, residents, business owners/operators, and other interested groups and individuals to help develop our future transportation needs. Using projected future population and employment information, the Plan will help determine where growth is likely to produce traffic volumes that exceed the capacity of existing roadways. Alternatives including roadway widening and new roadways may then be proposed, developed, and evaluated. Cost analyses and projected revenue sources will provide a feasible financial plan for the proposed roadway improvements. Once the recommended improvements have been determined, a phasing plan based on projected traffic growth and community needs will be developed. |
