Districtwide Miscellaneous Minor Safety Design
FDOT District Three

As Engineering Consultant to FDOT District Three, DRMP provided a broad range of services related to the design and study of miscellaneous minor safety projects throughout the Florida’s Panhandle.  DRMP provides roadway design, traffic engineering studies and design, surveying, stormwater management and design, utility design and general civil design for multiple task work orders simultaneously.  Projects assigned under this contract include: widening and resurfacing, intersection improvements, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, lighting, signing and pavement marking, signalization, and culvert analysis/replacement.  DRMP staff also prepares safety studies for intersection, segments and high risk rural roads (HRRR).  DRMP has held the contract for the past seven years and has managed over 26 task work orders.

Districtwide Traffic Operations  

Districtwide Traffic Operations Pushbutton Contract
FDOT District Five

The DRMP Traffic Engineering staff has been providing a broad range of engineering services to the FDOT District Five since 2001 as a continuing District Wide Traffic Operations Pushbutton Design and Studies Consultant.  These services include roadway design, ADA improvements, signalization design, signing and pavement marking design, drainage improvements, utility coordination, construction inspection, signal warrant studies, corridor retiming studies, left turn phase warrant studies, lighting justification reports and safety studies.  As part of the work effort for all work authorizations, DRMP is responsible for preparing all cost estimates for design projects to ensure the department has adequate funds for construction.

Palm Beach County Signal Retiming
Palm Beach County, Florida

DRMP provided traffic engineering design to retime signal systems along six corridors including:  Congress Avenue, Gateway Boulevard, Dixie Highway, Northlake Boulevard, Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Linton Boulevard, which included a total of 88 signalized intersections across Palm Beach County, Fla. DRMP Traffic Engineers developed base networks in SYNCHRO, created Before and After travel time studies to document the improvements, developed five time-of-day retiming plans and implemented and fine-tuned timings during the field implementation.

Interstate Interchange Lighting
Richland County, South Carolina

DRMP is providing lighting design for a two-phased project that will provide lighting upgrades for nine interstate interchanges along I-20, I-77 and I-26 in Richland County, SC.  The first phase consists of reviewing and prioritizing the lighting upgrades and cost estimating for each interchange.  Interchanges will be prioritized based on amount of increased traffic generated to the interchange from commercial businesses located within one mile.  The second phase will include the design of the lighting upgrades for each selected interchange along with assistance in bidding, contract administration and construction observation.
