TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYING

Royal Lakes Topographic Survey

Royal Lakes Phase I Topographic Survey
Jacksonville Electric Authority

DRMP provided survey and mapping services for this Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) expansion project and 1-mile route survey for the design of a proposed re-use water and force main. The survey tasks for this project included boundary ties, horizontal and vertical control for design survey, topography, and complete structure details of the existing facilities. This effort also included subsurface utility engineering services for the designation and location of existing buried utilities along the route and within the Royal Lakes Wastewater Treatment Facility.

St. Johns Heritage Parkway Platt Ranch

St. Johns Heritage Parkway / Platt Ranch Topographic Survey
Brevard County

DRMP performed 5-miles of design survey and mapping for right-of-way acquisition for the design of a new 4-lane roadway alignment east of I-95. The project started at the City of Palm Bay's northern limits and runs north for approximately 5 miles before turning east to cross I-95 and ending at the existing John Rodes Boulevard and Ellis Road intersection. One of the largest parcels acquired for the parkway came to be known as the Platt Ranch property, which made up approximately a quarter of the project. The roadway right-of-way was taken as fee parcels in several sections by the County, but in an agreement with the property owners, areas determined as needed for embankment, sidewalks, bridge maintenance access, and ponds were taken as easements, which would allow the property owners to relocate theimprovements, if necessary, when further development of the property occurred.  DRMP prepared a boundary survey for acquisition of the required property, including identifying different parcels as right-of-way, permanent pond, drainage, slope, or sidewalk easements, or temporary construction easements.

SR 390 Topographic Survey

SR 390
FDOT District Three

DRMP’s surveyors performed a topographic survey for the improvements to SR 390 from SR 368 to Airport Drive. The project encompasses approximately 1.7 miles and consists of two 12-foot lanes with 5-foot paved shoulders. The roadway serves as a beach connection for tourism, provides access to the Bay County International Airport and is a hurricane evacuation route. As part of the survey services, our surveyors performed title search analysis, parcel calculations and legal description preparation services.
