DRMP provided civil/site infrastructure development of this 8-acre site for 329 apartment units.  This apartment complex is a specialty design with a parking garage, pool and courtyards in the center and surrounded by the apartment unit buildings. This site development includes a 700-foot roadway extension of the Millenia Lakes Boulevard, a four-lane curb and gutter section, with associated 12-inch potable and 8-inch reclaimed watermain extensions. The site also included a lift station with approximately 3,700-LF of forcemain, including a 12-inch directional drill under Shingle Creek.  In addition to the network of pedestrian sidewalk, this project included 1,600-LF of a 10-foot wide multi-use trail along Shingle Creek and a 100-foot steel pedestrian bridge over Shingle Creek. This project included detailed coordination and permitting with City of Orlando, Orange County, FDEP and South Florida Water Management District.

Lake Colony Estates
City of Maitland

DRMP provided civil/site design, permitting and construction administration services for this 56-lot single-family residential subdivision located in the City of Maitland at the intersection of Wymore Road and Sandspur Road.  The natural beauty of the site, with abundant Oak and Pine trees and unobstructed lake front views of Lake Jackson, were preserved as much as possible to provide homeowners with a unique combination of a country setting and a city address.

Wekiva Landings Multi-family Community
Lennar Corporation

DRMP provided client and subconsultant coordination, preliminary and final engineering design, permitting through the appropriate agencies, and post-design and construction coordination for this 4.96-acre townhome community located within the Wekiva Club Golf Course.  The project consists of seven, 2-story buildings varying between 6-unit buildings and 8-unit buildings, internal stormwater management system which discharges to an off-site pond and utility connections.  The project conformed to the Seminole County Land Development Regulations as well as the Wekiva PUD criteria. The site is located in the Wekiva Basin, which required an additional recharge volume to be retained in the stormwater pond per the St. John’s River Water Management District (SJRWMD) criteria. DRMP attended public neighborhood meetings and public hearings to defend the conformance of the design to County standards.

Tapestry Park

Tapestry Park
Tapestry Park North, LLC

DRMP has been involved in the planning, surveying, permitting, engineering design, development and construction inspection of this project from the beginning in 2001.  By creating a master plan for Tapestry Park, including the utilities and stormwater management, has allowed for this project to be constructed in Phases as the market forces demands change.  Tapestry Park is one of the first Neo-Traditional communities in the Florida panhandle, consisting of three unique areas.  Located in Panama City Beach, FL, Tapestry Park is a “Planned Unit Development” designed to create a sense of place typical of the historic towns like Savannah, Natchez, Eufala and Charleston.  In addition to the work on Tapestry Park, DRMP has been involved in the planning and site design of a new library and Chamber of Commerce buildings to be located adjacent to this project.  This will allow a continuation of the Neo-Traditional idea to extend beyond the boundary of Tapestry Park.  Also working with the developer who owns the property to the south of Hutchison Boulevard, has allowed the main entrance road, Tapestry Boulevard, to be designed the future development while maintaining the character and feel of Tapestry Park.
