McCulloch Road and North Tanner Road

Project Purpose

Final design activities and construction plans have been completed for the proposed intersection improvements at McCulloch Road and North Tanner Road which is located in Orange and Seminole Counties. The plans include details for roadway and drainage improvements, the addition of left turn lanes, traffic signals, roadway signing and pavement markings. Details for maintaining traffic flow and access to adjacent properties during construction have also been prepared.

Construction of the McCulloch Road and North Tanner Road intersection improvements are expected to begin in May, 2009 and be completed by October, 2009.

The types of improvements include the following features:

Widening of a portion of McCulloch Road from a two-lane road to a three-lane roadway with left turn lanes
Signalization and intersection improvements
Access Management Roadway
Drainage enhancements
