Position requires 3-5 years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering and Construction Industries.  Primary responsibilities will include the preparation of LOIs, proposals and presentations for Department of Transportation, municipalities and government agencies in Florida and North Carolina. 

Requirements of position:

Environmental Scientist II needed for our Orlando office.  Position requires 5+ years’ experience as Florida ecology and permitting, with at least 2 years project management experience and client coordination.  Must have a working knowledge of Federal and Florida permitting requirements, and be capable of preparing wetlands and protected species reports associated with permitting and NEPA documents.

Requirements of position:
Candidates must have a B.S. degree in biological science, M.S. preferred.  FDOT experience is preferred, and experience with GIS and/or design software is a plus.

Subsurface Utility Laborer needed for our Jacksonville office. Candidates that have experience doing subsurface utility engineering (utility locating) or vacuum truck experience is preferred but not required. This position consists of helping the SUE Tech locate and dig underground utilities for mapping purposes.

Subsurface Utility Engineer Technician (SUE) needed for our Jacksonville office. Candidates must have the ability to research and perform field investigations of the project work sites. Experienced in interpolating OUA plans and utility records and have a good understanding of ASCE C-1 38-02 (Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data). Strong management, training and organizational skills.

Requirements: 
Candidate must be proficient in designating underground utilities with electromagnetic location equipment (RD 4000/Vivax-Metrotech series locators) and in the use of GPR. Experience with using non-destructive air-vacuum excavation techniques Preferred.

Candidates should be a Registered North Carolina Surveyor with 10 years of experience with NCDOT and /or City of Charlotte required, knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) a plus.
