Environmental Scientist II needed for our Orlando office.  Position requires 5+ years’ experience as Florida ecology and permitting, with at least 2 years project management experience and client coordination.  Must have a working knowledge of Federal and Florida permitting requirements, and be capable of preparing wetlands and protected species reports associated with permitting and NEPA documents.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a B.S. degree in biological science, M.S. preferred.  FDOT experience is preferred, and experience with GIS and/or design software is a plus.

Subsurface Utility Laborer

Jacksonville, Florida
 
Subsurface Utility Laborer needed for our Jacksonville office. Candidates that have experience doing subsurface utility engineering (utility locating) or vacuum truck experience is preferred but not required. This position consists of helping the SUE Tech locate and dig underground utilities for mapping purposes.

Requirements: Candidate must be able to do physical labor and heavy lifting including use of air and vacuum equipment.

SUE Technician

Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician needed for our Orlando office.  Candidates must have the ability to perform research and field investigations of project sites.  Experienced in interpolating UAO markup plans and utility records and have a good understanding of ASCE C-1 38-02 (Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data).  Strong management, training and organizational skills.

Requirements for the position:
Candidate must be proficient in designating underground utilities with electromagnetic location equipment (RD 4000/Vivax-Metrotech series locators) and GPR.  Experience with using non-destructive air-vacuum excavation techniques preferred.

Entry level position.  A working knowledge of Synchro and MicroStation is a plus.  Preferably be a registered EI.

Candidate should possess a working knowledge of traffic operations software such as Synchro/Sim Traffic and Highway Capacity Manual.  Ideal candidate should be proficient with MicroStation and FDOT Fiber Management Tool.
