Marketing Proposal Coordinator

Marketing Department seeks an experienced Marketing Proposal Coordinator with 3-5 years experience in the Architecture/Engineering and Construction Industries.  Primary responsibilities will include the preparation of LOIs, proposals and presentations for Design-Build and FDOT projects.

Project Engineer

DRMP, Inc. Structures Department has an immediate full time position for a Structures Project Engineer with 3-5 years’ work experience.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong technical ability in all aspects of bridge design and bridge plans preparation related to FDOT design criteria and procedures.  Projects include participation in a wide variety of bridge and highway structure related assignments ranging from simple highway grade crossing bridges to complex bridge design in both a Design-Bid-Build and a fast-paced Design-Build environment.

Requirements of position:
Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program.  EI designation required, with significant bridge design experience necessary. 

Candidate must be team oriented, proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation platforms (a working knowledge of both is preferred), be organized and detailed oriented.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to read and interrupt structural details are a must.

Structures Entry Level Bridge Engineer

Position Available in:

Structures Department seeks a talented team-oriented Graduate Engineer to join our team.  The successful candidate will provide structural calculations and assist in plans production for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects relating to bridge and transportation structures.

Requirements of position:
Candidates should be Florida EI with 0-5 years experience, a Master’s degree is preferred in the structural field. AutoCAD and MicroStation experience is helpful.

Charlotte, North Carolina

Registered Land Surveyor with 10 years of experience in surveying and management to help develop and expand our Survey & Mapping Division. Strong management and business development skills for both land development and transportation projects a must. Candidate must have experience in preparing fee and man hour estimates for projects, have a strong desire to succeed and build the area business.

Requirements of position:
Candidates should be a Registered North Carolina Surveyor with 10 years of experience with NCDOT and /or City of Charlotte required, knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) a plus. Ability to direct office staff and perform MicroStation, Geopak Mapping and AutoCAD. Must be capable of directing survey crews and perform field work as needed.

Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Crew Chief and Technician

The Jacksonville Survey office seeks a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Crew Chief and Technician with experience in interpolating OUA plans and utility records, a good understanding of ASCE C-1 38-02 “Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data. Ability to research and perform field investigations of the project work sites required. Candidate should have strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to train personnel. 

Requirements of position:
Candidate must be proficient in designating underground utilities w/ electromagnetic location equipment (RD 4000/Metrotech 810/ 9800 series locators) and in the use of GPR. Experience with using non-destructive air-vacuum excavation techniques

Transportation Planning / PD&E Project Engineer

Position Available in:

Seeking an experienced professional with minimum of five years of experience in transportation planning and/or PD&E projects with knowledge of the PD&E (NEPA) process, corridor studies, conceptual design and engineering, public involvement, and environmental support studies. 

Key responsibilities of the position include project management, coordination with multiple disciplines, agency staff and sub consultants in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.  Other facets of the position include challenging growth opportunities marketing both new and existing clients, proposal preparation and related research, leading project teams, contract administration, and general management of team resources.

Transportation Engineer / Transportation Planner – Entry Level

Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study Department seeks a motivated graduate engineer / planner for this entry level position. 
 
The successful candidate will perform tasks related to a variety of roadway improvement projects, including engineering and social and physical environment data collection / analysis, and participation in business development efforts such as proposal preparation, project research and presentations. The position also involves the development and implementation of public outreach programs, including planning and organization of public meetings and coordination with agency staff. Opportunities also exist to gain experience in surface transportation studies, traffic operations and transportation planning. 

Requirements of position
: Bachelor degree required, preferably a BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.  Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), MicroStation, and other common graphics applications and analysis tools preferred.  Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
